How to prepare for a virtual consultation

Neon1 Core Editorial · Sep 1, 2026 · 4 min read

Virtual sessions save travel time, but a little preparation goes a long way.

  • Write down your top three concerns. Sessions are time-boxed, so leading with what matters most helps.
  • Have your medication list ready, including doses and how long you have taken them.
  • Find a quiet, well-lit space where you can speak freely.
  • Test your connection a few minutes early.
  • Take notes, or ask your specialist to summarise next steps in your secure booking messages.

If your symptoms are severe or worsening quickly, seek local emergency care instead of waiting for a scheduled session.
